Join us in an evening of fun while supporting San Mar in preventing and overcoming systemic challenges in foster care
Thursday, June 5th, 2025
6:30 pm, The Loganathans, Potomac, MD

Thiag & I are incredibly grateful for the tremendous love & support we have received for San Mar. Because of the kindness and generosity of others, along with the leadership and team from San Mar, we are making a real difference in the Maryland community. Keith Fanjoy, Jerica Washington, Joanna Peters, and Elisa Mabina, along with the full San Mar community, remain focused every day on preventing and overcoming systemic challenges in foster care by providing vital services.
Kalyani Loganathan
Board Member, San Mar Family and Community Services
Cardinality and the Loganathans have been such an amazing support to the essential work we pursue every day with children, families, and communities. The financial resources raised will go a long way, but just as important was advocacy to facilitate Maryland leadership being present and who validated this critical work. We can’t do this work alone, and we’re so thankful we have the Cardinality team with us.

CEO, San Mar

Governor Wes Moore’s ENOUGH program has recognized San Mar as one of three implementation partners, acknowledging their commitment to driving transformative change and empowering communities.

\\ The Impact!

“It was so helpful that you took us to Children-In-Need. The children really needed Back-to-School clothing and I didn’t know how I was going to get the stuff they needed. The kids are all ready for school now. I appreciate the help and you going with me
-Single parent recently housed after their family experienced chronic homelessness.

“Becoming foster parents has been one of the most rewarding experiences of our lives. Watching our foster daughter grow, learn, and flourish has filled our hearts with so much joy. It has been a privilege to witness her resilience and strength, and we’re honored to be a part of her life and support her on this journey. The positive changes we see in her each day remind us of the importance of what we are doing - and San Mar’s support has been vital in making this possible.”
-Tommy & Crystal,
Foster Parents

“You guys are just awesome, I’ve never experienced the friendliness and kindness from a therapy place, and I’ve been a lot of places.”
-Diana, Client
\\ Exciting Plans

Transforming our campus into a Full-service Housing Program for young women, ages 18–24 aging out of care, providing a safe space, life skills, and support to thrive in adulthood.
San Mar is undergoing a $7.8M campus renovation.
The original group home in Boonsboro will be redesigned to create a 15-unit apartment building for young women transitioning from foster or group care to independence.
On-site services including case management and life skills counseling will provide wrap-around care toward thriving adulthood for this vulnerable population.
The program aims to build a bridge from systems of care to stable and thriving adulthood, preventing homelessness and further hardship.
Join us for an evening that leads to a brighter dawn!
